Mackerel & Mahi 11/08/12

The winter cold fronts have started and the North West winds are driving the big schools of Spanish Mackerel down the beaches.  Mixed in are Blue Fish, Jack Caravelle, Blue Runners and a few smaller Gag Groupers under the macks on the patch reefs.

The same weather is pushing larger Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) South following the edge of the deep reef and Gulf Stream.  If you are the lucky one there have been a few Wahoo mixed in.  For more info on a charter fishing trip go to
