Fishing Miami Beach- Dec 17,2012

Posted by on December 19, 2012

Fishing Miami Beach – we have been seing a few sharks this week.  Most are in a shallow as 120 foot and on out to more than 350 foot of water.  We have had our best luck using smallFishing Miami Beach - Hammer Head Shark at the boat - Sailfish fishing miami live bonito for bait.  Most of the Sharks that we have been catching are Deep Water Silky Sharks.  These sharks have been migrating through our area the past week.  They favor the North current and the days fishing Miami Beach with good North current we see the most Silky Sharks.  We have also caught a few large Hammer Head Sharks, with the largest this week at about 8-9 foot.

Fishing Miami Beach – conditions:

The seas calmed down some as the wind fell to about 15 knots and switched out of the North to the East South East. Seas were about 2-4 fot, just perfect fishing Miami Beach conditions.
