The Miami fishing area has a lot of great methods that work for many different species in many different areas.  We have the Off Shore & middle of the Gulf Stream Area.  We also have great fishing on the Western edge of the Gulf Stream, the deep wrecks, the deep reef, shallow reefs & wrecks.  The beaches and inlets also are seasonal home to a wide variety of Game fish

Starting out the furthest, at about 16 to 18 miles we can fish for Daytime Swordfish or Nighttime Swordfish.  Both fisheries are very different.  Off shore we may also fish for Tuna, Dolphin fish (Mahi Mahi), Marlin, Wahoo and others.  We use deep drop fishing, power drifting, live bait fishing & trolling.

Miami Fishing Gulf Stream Methods

Miami Fishing - Kite Fishing

When we are fishing the west side of the Gulf Stream or the top of the deep reef the methods we use are Trolling, Kite Fishing, Live Bait Slow Trolling or Live baitpower drifting.  All of these fishing miami methods are successful in fishing for Sailfish, Sharks, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin fish (Mahi), Kingfish, Great Barracuda, Little Tunny & others. The way we determine what method to use each day depends on the wind, currents, time of year & the baits that are available and the game fish are naturally eating.
